Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how PeekAPI ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and dashboard. For more information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember your preferences, maintain sessions, and provide a better user experience.
2. Cookies We Use
We only use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Authentication session — stores your signed-in state | Essential | Session |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | PKCE auth flow — verifies the login handshake | Essential | Session |
The * in cookie names represents the Supabase project reference, which varies by environment.
3. Plausible Analytics (Marketing Pages)
Our marketing pages (landing page, pricing, documentation) use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool. Plausible:
- Does not set any cookies
- Does not collect or store personal data
- Does not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
- Is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant without a consent banner
Plausible collects the following aggregate data:
- Page URL and referrer
- Browser and operating system
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Country (derived from IP, which is never stored)
This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors. Our Plausible instance is self-hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany (EU).
4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not embed any third-party scripts that set cookies on our domain. The dashboard does not load advertising, social media, or third-party analytics trackers.
5. Managing Cookies
Since we only use essential cookies for authentication, disabling them will prevent you from signing in to the dashboard. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Note that clearing cookies will sign you out.
6. Contact
